Patchwork Prairies, 24 x 36

This painting was inspired by a one of my Trans Canada trips across the country.  The vast prairies can feel daunting to some but I love them.  The dramatic skies and patchwork fields that stretch out to the horizon inspire me every time I visit.  On this day my wife and I were amazed  as we watched the ebb and flow of the summer storms.  We were captivated by the shapes of the billowing clouds building and churning and then breaking apart after they had watered the fields 

This 24" X 36" original painting comes gallery wrapped with finished sides on a beefy 1 3/4" stretcher and is ready to hang.
