Angel View III, 12"X12" original painting

This 12x12" acrylic painting part of an exciting new series I've been working on.  There is something magical that happens when these loose geometric backgrounds are juxtaposed against tight clean organic design. I love the explosion of colour that happens as the ink backgrounds take shape. 

All design aspects aside this painting is for all the winter lovers out there. One of the classic thigs we have all done is flop down in the snow and make a snow angel.  This painting is inspired by the view one gets when laying on your back under some snow laden trees making a snow angel.

The canvas is stretched on a 1 3/4" thick gallery frame.  The sides are finished in black and it arrives ready to hang.
