Summer Sisters, Fernie, 12X12, Original Painting

This 12"X12" acrylic on canvas is a Fernie classic. The Three Sisters are Fernies famous post card peaks and the most well know mountains in the valley.  This painting captures them in mid summer when all the snow is gone.  The late afternoon light illuminates the peaks giving them a warm golden glow.   Its the perfect time to go for a bike ride or head down to the river to sit or fish...or both.
