Porcupine Hills,24"X36", Original Painting

The Porcupine Hills are located in South western Alberta.  They are a group of foothills that run parallel to the Rocky Mountains and are one of my favorite places to visit and paint.  I love the combination of big skies and rolling hills.  Its an area where the light dances across the golden fields highlighting the shapes and forms of the old glacial river beds.  In this windswept land there are many storms that blow by adding to the drama and energy of this beautiful but harsh place.   

This 24" X 36" original painting comes gallery wrapped with finished sides on a beefy 1 3/4" stretcher and is ready to hang.
